Blessings of the Cove
As we round the bend capping off yet another year, we are about to enter a season of gratitude and giving. It is in this spirit that Cypress Cove would like to re-introduce a Holiday countdown of sorts, affectionately dubbed “Blessings of The Cove”— a period of supporting those in our nudist family who have the greatest need in consideration of trying times.
Through the end of the year, we are inviting Cypress Cove residents and members to write to us and tell us of your need. What do you think would help you most during this difficult time? Each week, we will choose a letter and will respond with assistance and support. You can either drop off a letter to the Main Office, care of Peter Sewall or email Peter at CoveBlessings@cypresscoveresort.com.
Cypress Cove has enjoyed a long history of community support both participating in and spearheading, various events ranging in size and reach. It is the members of our naturist community that have enabled growth and success through the years. As such, we thought it was important to finish the year with full focus on this community—those of you “inside the gate.” It can be hard to ask for help, but please let us know if you have an exceptional need. It is our goal to make your holiday season a little bit brighter.
We already know that the Cypress Cove nudist community has a big heart and a philanthropic spirit, so we’d encourage those of you who are not in need to lend support to your friends and neighbors during this time. If you'd like to help us expand our efforts, you may do so at this link; simply select Blessings of The Cove Donation. We want “Blessings of The Cove” to spill over into all corners of our amazing community.

This week, we were deeply moved to receive a touching email nomination from one of our own, underscoring the true spirit of compassion within our community. The nominee, facing a series of hardships throughout the year, shared their story, inviting us to come together and be a source of light during their difficult journey.
Blessings of The Cove provides an opportunity for all of us to nominate fellow members who may need a helping hand. It's a chance to extend the warmth and generosity that makes Cypress Cove a true family. Your nominations make a difference, and each story shared reminds us of the strength that lies within our community.
Dear Peter,
I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to you today as a member of our cherished Cypress Cove community, and it is with a heavy heart that I find myself nominating myself for the Blessings of The Cove program.
Back in January, my family and I faced the devastating experience of a fire in our Winter Haven home. This marked the beginning of what has been a year filled with hardship and challenges. The financial strain resulting from this incident forced me to let both my Cypress Cove and AANR memberships lapse. Regrettably, circumstances have prevented me from being able to visit Cypress Cove this year, missing the sanctuary that our community provides.
In May, another financial setback, an amount I simply did not have. The repercussions of this unfortunate incident lingered throughout June and July, consuming almost two months' worth of income. The financial pressure led to overdue fees and payments across multiple accounts, ultimately leading to the deterioation of my longstanding banking relationship. I now rely on a debit card service for my social security deposits.
Thanksgiving, a time that was once spent hosting a joyous spread for family and friends, passed by this year as just another day. I'll admit that the approaching Christmas season looms with a sense of bleakness.
As I reflect on the challenges of this year, I can't help but yearn for better days in 2024. I deeply miss the sense of community and camaraderie at Cypress Cove. My spouse and I cherish the memories of the times we were able to visit. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. My primary intention was to share the burdens that this year has placed upon me, and I am hopeful that the Blessings of The Cove initiative may offer a ray of light in what has been a challenging time.

7th Annual Hey Nude Volleyball & Spikeball Tournament
Dive into the excitement at Cypress Cove this December 1-3 as we celebrate the return of the Hey Nude Volleyball Tournament! Join us for a weekend of sun-soaked fun and friendly competition on the courts, where the only dress code is your birthday suit.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just eager to soak up the unique atmosphere as a spectator, the Hey Nude Volleyball Tournament promises a one-of-a-kind experience. Bask in the camaraderie and spirited energy that only nudists can bring to the game.
Registration CONCLUDES at 9:30 am on both Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to secure your spot early. The captain's meeting follows at 9:45 am, setting the stage for an unforgettable weekend of nudist sportsmanship. Tournament play officially commences at 10:00 am, marking the beginning of a fantastic journey into the world of nude volleyball.

At this time every year, Tiki's desk transforms into a delightful whirlwind, adorned with a plethora of gifts graciously bestowed upon us by our incredible members, guests, and residents—a heartening expression of appreciation for our dedicated staff. The much-anticipated grand reveal of these gifts takes center stage during our annual holiday party, a joyous occasion that our staff eagerly looks forward to.
In response to the numerous inquiries regarding whether our exceptional team would be celebrating the holiday season together, the emphatic answer is... ABSOLUTELY!
Set for December 13th, our team will come together for a magical evening at Lakeside, creating the perfect backdrop for the exchange of gifts, accompanied by various Cove "goodies." For those currently in the vicinity of The Cove, our front office is prepared to warmly accept your tokens of appreciation.
