Blessings of the Cove
As we approach the close of another year and enter the season of gratitude and giving, Cypress Cove is pleased to re-introduce a cherished tradition: the “Blessings of The Cove.” This holiday initiative is dedicated to supporting those in our nudist family facing the greatest needs during these challenging times.
Through the end of the year, Cypress Cove residents and members are invited to reach out and share how we can best support you. If you’re in need, please write to us and let us know what would bring the most relief or joy to your holiday season. Each week, we’ll select a letter and respond with assistance. You can either drop off a letter at the Main Office, addressed to me, Peter Sewall, or email me at Peter@cypresscoveresort.com.
Cypress Cove has a rich history of community support, driven by our naturist members who have fueled our growth and success over the years. This season, our focus is on those “inside the gate,” as we aim to brighten the holidays for our own members. We know it can be difficult to ask for help, but please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have an exceptional need.
For those who are not in need, we invite you to extend your support to your friends and neighbors in the spirit of generosity that defines our community. Earlier this week Cypress Cove received this letter from Laura.
Hi Cypress Cove,
My name is Laura, and I’ve been a member here for about six years now. The Cove has always felt like family to me, and I’m so thankful for all the kindness I’ve seen here over the years. I’m writing to ask for a Blessing because things have been a little tough lately.
My mom lives with me, and she’s been having trouble getting around. It’s hard for her to go out, like to the store or even just to eat out every now and then. I’m doing my best to take care of her, but money’s been tight with all the extra expenses, like her medical bills and fixing things around the house to make it safer for her.
It would mean so much to us if we could get a gift card for groceries, like to Publix, or maybe to her favorite restaurant so I could bring her a nice meal. It’s been hard to see her feeling down, and I know this would really brighten her day.
Thank you so much for thinking of us. I’ve always known the Cove is special, and it’s because of people like you who care so much.

Driver Safety Course
Join us for the AARP Driver Safety class on Saturday, November 23rd, from 9 AM to 4 PM in the Clubhouse. This course is perfect for brushing up on your driving skills, learning crash-avoidance techniques, and even qualifying for a discount on your auto insurance!
How to Register:
- Email Regis at Regis@CypressCoveResort.com or sign up on the sheet posted at Regis' Activities Office door
- Attendance is limited to 20 participants, so reserve your spot early!
What to Bring:
- A check (no cash) made payable to AARP: $20 for AARP members (with membership card) or $25 for non-members.

Join us on Wednesday, December 4th, for a rejuvenating session of Yoga with Mary, hosted in the Cove’s Clubhouse from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Mary, one of our talented campers, is generously volunteering her time to guide you through a relaxing and energizing yoga practice.
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just looking to stretch and unwind, this session is perfect for all skill levels. Bring your mat, a water bottle, and an open mind as we come together to embrace wellness and community spirit.

8th Annual Hey Nude Volleyball & Spikeball Tournament
Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Hey Nude Volleyball Tournament at Cypress Cove Nudist Resort on December 7-8! This epic weekend is perfect for players and partygoers alike. The tournament kicks off on Saturday, December 7, with Grass Coed 4s across divisions Novice/B, BB/A, and AA/AAA.
Sunday, December 8, features a format to be announced, giving you the flexibility to play one day or both. Pre-registration isn’t required but is appreciated to help us plan for teams. Don’t miss the fun, the competition, and the unforgettable parties! This is a weekend you won’t want to miss!

Each year, as the holiday season arrives, our front desk transforms into a heartwarming display of gratitude, filled with gifts thoughtfully given by our wonderful members, guests, and residents—a beautiful tradition that reflects your appreciation for our dedicated staff! The highlight of this season is our annual holiday party, where the grand unveiling of these gifts takes center stage, a moment our staff eagerly anticipates.
This year, employees will gather for a memorable celebration on December 11th at Lakeside restaurant, a perfect setting to share in the holiday spirit and exchange gifts, along with some special Cove treats. For those here at Cypress Cove, our front office is delighted to accept your tokens of appreciation, and we encourage you to include a personal note for the recipient. The Cove Family and Friends Holiday Show
Coming for one night only, The Cove Family & Friends Christmas Show is set for Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm! This festive evening will be a memorable gathering of friends and neighbors as the Cove’s talented community brings the holiday spirit to life through singing, dancing, and delightful performances. Lakeside Restaurant will open early at 5 PM for dinner, so be sure to make your reservations in advance and come hungry!
At the end of the show, if you’ve been especially good this year, you’ll have the chance to take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Bring your camera, as we’ll keep the holiday music going for a bit of dancing while you wait your turn. We kindly ask that no photos or videos be taken during the performance so everyone can enjoy the show without distractions. The cast is thrilled to welcome you to the Cove’s first-ever Family & Friends Christmas Show — don’t miss out on this special holiday celebration!

The Lake Brown Chili Cook-Off, an exciting event to benefit the fish of Lake Brown was a huge success and lots of fun for everyone.
The Back to the 50s weekend featured The Dukes at Lakeside Restaurant on Saturday night and the dance floor was full all night long.
A Body Painting Meetup happened on Saturday afternoon. Guests could enjoy watching the painters at work in the Clubhouse.
