Funky Pirate Weekend
Ahoy, fellow Cove dwellers! Avast ye, for the tides of fun are a-turnin'! Prepare to set sail on a weekend of swashbuckling adventure and funky beats as the pirates of the high seas invade our shores for Funky Pirate Weekend!
Originally slated for groovy tunes and boogie nights, Funk Weekend finds itself in the clutches of a marauding crew from United Naturists, commandeering our beloved event into a fusion of funk and piracy like never before.
Chart your course for excitement as United Naturists present a thrilling cardboard boat race, where the bravest souls shall vie for glory upon the waves. While the competition may be exclusive, all are welcome to line the shores and cheer on these intrepid sailors.
But wait, there's more treasure to be had! Don your finest buccaneer garb and join in the spirited costume contest on Saturday evening. Let your imagination run wild as you compete for the title of best-dressed scallywag or siren of the seven seas.
So gather your crew and prepare to embark on a weekend of plunder and funk aboard the good ship Cypress Cove. Yo ho ho, it's a naked life for me!
Memorial Weekend Volleyball Tournament
Get ready to kick some grass at the hottest volleyball event of the year! Join us on May 25th & 26th, 2024, for an adrenaline-packed weekend of Coed 3s Grass Volleyball, where the fun never stops and the competition is fierce.
Mark your calendars for two days of thrilling action, played on a spacious court with side-out scoring. Saturday kicks off with pool play, leading into double-elimination playoffs on Sunday – so bring your A-game!
Registration is only $50 per person, and that includes your grounds fees for the entire weekend (Friday through Monday) at Cypress Cove Nudist Resort. It also includes FREE primitive camping by the lake.
But the excitement doesn't end on the court – off-the-court festivities are legendary! From Spikeball and Flip Cup to Inflatable Slip & Slide and Bourbon Slushees, the fun is endless. And don't miss out on Das Flip, our signature Saturday Night Pool Party, bonfires, and more!
Cypress Cove Nudist Resort is a family-friendly, clothing OPTIONAL haven. While you're not required to play naked, we do ask that all players be comfortable and respectful around those who choose to be nude, including other players, guests, and residents.

Calling all aspiring models: if you've got the confidence and flair to rock the runway, we want to hear from you! No partner required - simply check-in by 8:15 am and be prepared for a fun and friendly 90-minute competition. Lack of April Showers Brings Earlier Happy Hour
At Cypress Cove Nudist Resort, we're embracing the sunshine with a refreshing change! Due to the delightful lack of April showers and clear skies, there is more time for drinks poolside! Cheeks Bar and Grill is thrilled to announce our Happy Hour now begins an hour earlier, from 3 pm to 6 pm nightly beginning June 1.
This adjustment aims to ease the bustling rush experienced by our fantastic bartenders, ensuring you can savor your favorite beverages with ease. Swing by between 3 pm and 6 pm and let our skilled bartenders craft your perfect drink.

In a heartwarming display of appreciation, camper Randy Miller went above and beyond to acknowledge the hard work of the Cypress Cove housekeeping team. Recognizing their dedication and tireless efforts, Randy reached out to the director of housekeeping with a thoughtful proposal: a pizza party to express gratitude for their often unsung contributions.
With enthusiasm and collaboration, Randy and the director coordinated the event, settling on a date that worked for all involved. As the day arrived, anticipation filled the air as the diligent housekeeping team gathered to enjoy a well-deserved break.
Six large pizzas, generously provided by Randy, served as the centerpiece of the celebration. Amidst laughter and camaraderie, the staff savored each slice, relishing the opportunity to unwind and bond as a team.

John & Amy Kick Start 19th Annual Cypress Cove Parrothead Breast Cancer Fundraiser
The Cypress Cove Parrothead Breast Cancer Fundraiser has kicked off with a heartwarming gesture from John and Amy Kornhaus, beloved residents of Cypress Cove. The couple recently hosted their 4th Annual Kornhaus Derby Party, a lively event filled with raffles and silent auctions aimed at supporting the noble cause. Their efforts bore fruit as they successfully raised $2,000, a generous contribution that they presented to Ric and Laurel. This donation serves as a catalyst for the 19th Annual Cypress Cove Parrothead Breast Cancer Fundraiser, which aims to benefit the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative. John and Amy's compassionate gesture reflects the spirit of unity and support that thrives within our community at Cypress Cove. Their dedication sets a commendable example for all of us as we rally together to fight against breast cancer and support those in need.
