The Cove has a great weekend of activities lined up for this huge weekend. It all starts off with a special Friday Night Streak at Cheeks with DJ Xavier.
Then on Saturday night it’s time to celebrate the freedom that America affords us by dressing up as a Tacky Tourist for the Cove’s Third Annual July 4th Tacky Tourist Deck Party. The first 10 costumed guests to sign up with Regis for the Costume Contest automatically win a free drink. The music will be provided by DJ Glen Mitchell and the tackiest tourist of the night wins a prize. And don’t forget to bring your Florida-legal fireworks so we can all shoot them off and have our own private fireworks display on beautiful Lake Brown.
Sunday afternoon by the pool will also be rocking because Jerry Brown will be playing live music to all our sun worshipers. Make arrangements now to attend our red, white & nude July Forth weekend here at Cypress Cove.

It’s that time once again for a party weekend you won’t soon forget! Y’all get ready because REDNECK WEEKEND RETURNS!
It all starts off Friday afternoon with a right good pool party with DJ Xavier spinning all the redneck music you can handle. That night keeps the good times rollin with a good old fashioned Redneck Karaoke Party with Ted in the Lakeside Lounge. Sing all your countrified favorites or come down and sing any song as long as you come and sing.
Saturday has yet another pool party with Xavier, a Good Ole Boys Parade, and the now legendary Hillbilly Games on Lakefront Lawn. Saturday night, Snafu, will take the stage at Lakeside Restaurant for a big Redneck Hoedown with all your friends. It all builds up to our Redneck Costume Contest where you can win a free night stay in our beautiful Villas. I hope to see y’all here real soon.

There are quite a few themed weekends coming up this Summer, including the Redneck Hoedown this Saturday night. We think it would be fun if more of our guests dressed up for the events. So we’ve decided to offer a free drink (beer, wine, or well) to the first 10 costumed guests who see Regis once the dance has started at 8 pm. And don’t try to pull a fast one on us. It’s got to actually be a costume that you’ve put a little thought into. Don’t just show up in blue jeans and claim that’s your Redneck Costume! But if it’s a good one, you can win a free drink for your effort.

Parrothead is almost here and we’ve got a great weekend planned out for you. It’s going to be the best Parrothead ever, but that is not the only great thing that is happening here at this Cove this month.
For starters we have the new Pirate Party Weekend, July 6-8. In addition to all the great normal activities, we also will have the Pirate Treasure Hunt and a big Pirate Costume Party on Saturday for everyone to enjoy and maybe win some great prizes. We think it’s a great new addition to the schedule.
Another new addition is the return of Monday Music. We took it off the schedule last month due to low participation. As soon as it was announced my email inbox was flooded with people pleading for us to bring it back. And me being such a people pleaser, I’m happy to announce it will be back July 2nd and continue on the first Monday of the month with a different performer every show. This night will continue on through October when it will return to the regular schedule of every Monday night. Make sure to come out and support this night so we can keep it going the rest of the summer.
We have made a change to Open House. We will not be having the car show this year. We have tried the car show now for a few years and it has never really caught on. We even offered a cash prize last year and it hardly affected the entries. So this year we will have the Open House with DJ Shawn playing some tunes and a hot air balloon giving rides on the sunning yard. We are also looking for volunteers to give tours of Florida’s Most Beautiful Clothes Free Resort. Sign up in the activities office A.S.A.P. if you would like to help out.
As you can see we have a great month in store for you here at beautiful Cypress Cove. Make sure to come out and enjoy all the great activities we have planned for YOU!

We’ve got two events coming up that we need volunteers for. The first is the Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Party on Wednesday, July 11th. Ours is one of the most popular events of the year. We offer food, drinks and tours of the resort to local Chamber Members.
Then on Saturday, July 14th, is our annual Open House from 10 am to 2 pm. We will have a DJ set up on the lakefront, along with food & drinks for sale. The entertainment for this year is very exciting. We are offering tethered hot air balloon rides on the lakefront!
Both of these events are important opportunities to share our lifestyle with the local community and perhaps even grow our membership. Education is our greatest ally. But we need you to help make it happen. For both events, we need volunteers to help park vehicles and offer tours of the resort to our guests. Please call or stop by the Activities Office to sign up.

One of the most popular nights here at the Cove is getting a special weekend all it’s own and it’s called Streak at Cheeks Weekend and it will be happening June 15-17. For the first time ever we will have a Friday night and Saturday night Streak at Cheeks.
Friday night will be with Cove favorite DJ Xavier as he rocks all the songs you want to hear. Then on Saturday we have DJ Shawn making a special Streak at Cheeks appearance for the first time in over a year.
Don’t forget Father’s Day on Sunday, June 17th. We’ve got great dinner specials, so why not bring Dad down for a treat?
With 2 great dances, pool parties all weekend, Hermit Crab Racing and Super Mega Trivia 3000 to fill out the weekend, how can you go wrong? We look forward to seeing you here!

The AANR Youth Ambassadors & Nude U programs will be beginning shortly at Cypress Cove. It looks like the attendance is going to be great. The youth groups will be sponsoring a Meet & Greet on Wednesday, June 20th, by the West Pool from 7 - 9 pm to meet and mingle with our members. They will have snacks, drinks and AANR promotional items.
Come out and meet the young adults of AANR, and their mentors and leaders. They will be at Cypress Cove throughout the remainder of the weekend training to be role-models and leaders for youger nudists, promoting nude recreation. Let’s all show them our support.

Friday, June 22nd, will be Young Nudist Day at Cypress Cove. All young nudists, ages 18 - 35, will receive free admission to the resort for the day. We will have a pool party in the afternoon with music and games, happy hour with live music and bar trivia in the evening, and then the hermit crab races in the Lakeside Restaurant. Finally, stay at the Restaurant for our Redneck Karaoke Party, or head over to the West Pool for a night time Pool Party with a live band sponsored by the AANR Youth Programs. All members are welcome to attend.
