The winter crowd is thinning out and many of the summer guests have not arrived yet. Enjoy a nice relaxing weekend at Cypress Cove. We are expecting beautiful weather with temperatures in the low 80’s.
The weekend starts off Friday night with Happy Hour with Live Music and Bar Trivia. Then stay for Super Mega Trivia 3000, the game show that everyone plays including the audience.
On Saturday, we have the Happy Hour again with Live Music and Bar Trivia. Then head over to Cheeks for our Streak at Cheeks Party. DJ Xavier will be on hand to play all your favorites while you dance the night away.
On Sunday, there will be a special Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help Presentation. This ancient art of releasing tensions and harmonizing mind, body and spirit came to us from Japan and is now taught worldwide.

We’ve got some exciting new summer activities coming in May. You won’t want to miss out on the fun!
BBQ Night – Starting May 2nd, Pizza Night will be replaced by BBQ Night every Wednesday in Cheeks. We are getting a smoker and slow cooking BBQ all day long. Arnie says, “We’re not just talking about BBQ, we’re talking about the best BBQ in the state of Florida!”
First Timer’s Reception – Starting Friday, May 4th, we will be hosting a First Timer’s Reception every Friday evening in the Lakeside Lounge after Happy Hour. We are asking our current members to come down and introduce yourselves and help make our new guests feel welcome.
Hermit Crab Races – Again, starting Friday, May 4th, we will begin hosting Hermit Crab Races every Friday evening in the Restaurant. I went to some crab races last night for research and it was a lot of fun. You have to see it for yourselves, but I’m sure everyone will have a great time!
Super Mega Trivia 3000 – Okay, your saying, “This isn’t new.” Well, what’s new about it is that Regis will be hosting one hour of Super Mega Trivia 3000 every Saturday evening in the Lakeside Lounge from 7 – 8 pm. This is a fun game show that includes all of the audience in the game play.
During the summer, most of our night time entertainment will begin at 8 pm. Obviously, we hope you will come down and enjoy our delicious new food in the Restaurant, join in the fun new evening activities, and then stay for the night time entertainment!

Join Cypress Cove in celebrating our big 43rd Anniversary Weekend, April 13-15.
We are starting the celebration on Friday night at 8 pm with a Karaoke Party in the Lounge. Come down and sing all your favorite songs from yesterday and today.
Then on Saturday night we have some very special guests to perform for you. The Fabulous Baker Act Jam Band will be bringing their musical stylings to the Lakeside Restaurant for an 8 pm dance. Come enjoy the music, have some dinner, check out pictures from the archives and dance the night away.
With all this great entertainment, it’s no wonder that Cypress Cove has been around for so long. We look forward to seeing you all here for this very special weekend.

Easter weekend will soon be upon us, so why not spend it here at the Cove? We have a weekend full of fun planned so you can just relax and have a great time.
The weekend starts off right with the new Cypress Cove sensation Super Mega Trivia 3000. It’s the game show everyone plays including the audience. And don’t forget you can also win a one night stay right here in Cypress Cove if you are the champion for the night. It’s a lot of fun for everyone and is always exciting to watch even if you choose not to play.
Saturday starts off with Easter Egg decorating for the youngsters at 2:00 pm in the pool area. Bring the kids by, and we will have the eggs and decorations for them to paint the prettiest eggs you’ve ever seen. Saturday night is for the adults to boogie down at our Easter Dance to the awesome sounds of DJ Xavier.
Sunday morning will be our yearly Easter Egg Hunt on the sunning yard with candy filled eggs for the kids to enjoy. Make plans now to attend a fun filled weekend that you won’t soon forget!

On Saturday, March 24th, the final tournament of the winter petanque season was held. It was a beautiful day with 60 combatants locked in a heated battle of which color would be declared victorious. Three battles were waged with the final outcome that had the blue team trouncing the reds by a 41 point margin 163 to 122.
The winning blue team was then awarded a toast of champagne, while the losing red team had to wallow in their beer.
This was all followed by a fried chicken dinner, with homemade potato salad & baked beans, topped off by black forrest cake and vanilla ice cream.
