Well, we made it through another summer and we’re still golfing at the Cove. Our next tournament is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th with sign-up at 9:30 and a 10:00 tee-time. Prize money will be the same and entry fees are the same: members $8.00 and non-members $10.00. We’ll have the usual soft drinks, beer and something to eat. Hope to see you there.
Hey, I am the last one to know but I’ve been praising Mike Joy for the work he has done on the ninth green. It turns out that Ray, Ron and Ed dug up the green and replaced it with excellent professional sod compliments of someone. It is great and we still owe thanks to the whole bunch, including Mike for the hard work they have done.
